  • In 2024 Aware conducted a national mental health survey on 1200 adults. They reported that 74% experience anxiety and are taking action to address it with 48% feeling it frequently and 20% voiced that their anxiety is so bad, most days they can’t function.

  • Anger is a natural emotion and is so easily misunderstood. 100% of people on the earth have experienced anger for numerous reasons. Sometime it hides hurt, injustice or unmet needs.

    In our session we will explore what your anger is communicating and create a space where we can work together to find healthy, authentic ways to express it.

  • In 2022 a study from Maynooth University, National College of Ireland and Trinity College Dublin reported that out of 1100 adults, 40% of Irish adults have a mental health disorder. Major depression disorder was found to be the second most common disorder out of the group.

  • Procrastination can easily be mistaken for laziness, but it’s very different. It can be an emotional response to fear, being overwhelmed or having self doubt which can lead to avoiding tasks and not achieving goals.

    In therapy, we talk and explore deep rooted feelings that are attached to procrastination, and create a realistic, values aligned plan that you feel ready to undertake, with supportive professional guidance.

  • Remember that it is normal for our self-esteem to fluctuate, it is ever changing and can affect our lives in so many different ways.

    According to a 2025 report by Central Statistics Office, at age 20, over 80% of people had normal self-esteem with 10 - 20% reporting low self-esteem. By the age of 25, 21% of respondents reported low self-esteem.

    In counselling, we’ll challenge self-critical beliefs and highlight your strengths through self affirming dialog. Helping you to rebuild your confidence and empower you to trust your own abilities.

  • According to Social Anxiety Ireland 13.7% of Irish adults are affected by this at any point in time. While this is one of the most common anxiety disorders, due to stigma, shame or fear of being judged, people have prevented themselves from seeking support. According to Aware’s 2024 survey, 17% diagnosed with anxiety avoid seeking help.

    With our support, we provide a gradual empathic process to help you explore your social fears, foster self compassion, and slowly re-engage with social environments. Helping you to become the best version of yourself when out in Dublin.

  • A national survey found that 35% of Irish adults report feeling stressed always or often in daily life.

    Across Munster, 78% of adults feel stressed weekly or more, and among those under the age of 35, 80% report regular stress.

    60% of Irish employees experienced workplace related stress in the past year. 33% said it happened “very often” and 27% “somewhat often”.

    With our support, we’ll identify stressors, develop coping strategies like boundaries and self care routines, and strengthen emotional resilience that encourages balance and wellbeing amid Dublins demands.
